Our hospital is equipped with a highly specialised in-house diagnostic service that includes the Complex Structure of Laboratory Medicine, Pathological Anatomy equipped with technology for second level investigations such as FISH and molecular genetics. In addition to CT and high-field MRI (1.5 tesla), there is a modern angiography room for interventional radiology and thoracic endoscopy procedures.
The outpatient service is an important point of reference for the area. Thanks to the wide range of specialist services and diagnostic examinations provided, both in agreement with the National Health Service and on a private basis, patients can easily access course of treatments and find a specialist reference team even in cases of pathologies that require a multidisciplinary clinical-assistance route.
The Oncology course of treatment makes it possible to find within the hospital all the reference figures and specialist facilities necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease and follow-up. Each patient is taken care of by a multidisciplinary team made up of specialists belonging to the Complex Structures of Oncology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Urology, Laboratory Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and the Simple Structures of Digestive Endoscopy and Pathological Anatomy. In particular, personalised programs dedicated to breast, colon-rectum, thyroid, and prostate have been set up.
