The Emergency Department is equipped with an elevated helipad, it has around 30,000 accesses each year and covers an area of 530 square metres.
It is equipped with in-house radiology, a detached area reserved for infectious disease emergencies and a pink path dedicated to maternity patients.
Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department with approximately 600 deliveries per year is an important reference point for the area. It is equipped with a Level I Perinatal Care Centre and a nursery area with state-of-the-art incubators.
Adhering to UNICEF guidelines, the hospital promotes breastfeeding and rooming-in to support the new-born’s physical contact with the mother. Particular attention is paid to the expectant mother and the parental couple, who can find psycho-affective support and parenting guidance in the ward.
Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology
The Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology offers comprehensive patient care: from the specialist examination to complex interventional surgery, from the plaster room to the rehabilitation and physio-kinesiotherapy program.
A strong point is the punctual compliance with the Lazio Region regulations, which require femur fracture surgery within 48 hours in patients over 65. This is essential to avoid complications that would compromise the patient’s functional recovery.
The organisational structure of the department guarantees very short waiting and discharge times.
